Bunga has a great respect for local traditions, a passion for nature, and the belief that high-quality ingredients are essential in the art of cooking. She sees vanilla not just as a spice, but as an expression of her nation's rich agricultural heritage.

Direct sourcing: our commitment to fairness and quality
What sets us apart is our direct engagement with local farmers. We work hand-in-hand with a local Indonesian organization that ensures correct payment for every farmer, alongside vital support for agricultural education and sustainable farming practices.
Quality begins with fairness. After harvest, green planifolia vanilla beans are directly bought from farmers at above-market prices, ensuring immediate support and fair compensation. To guarantee superior flavour and quality, the curing and drying process is managed in-house with the needed expertise and strict quality control. The result is a fully traceable bean - every purchase you make is adirect, tangible support for the farmer and it’s community.

We believe that our success is intertwined with the well-being of our farmers and its communities.
